Couple Notes: Spring 2015 and IAI

A couple notes:

  • There is a possibility of having another Summit in spring 2015.  We are looking for someone, especially from a 4-year institution, to help organize it. Roberta Christie, of Shawnee CC, is interested in helping organize it, but she needs some assistance. (For myself, I will be able to update this website and help contact ISMAA membership about the summit, but my spring semester is extra busy, so I will not have time to put the program together.) If you are willing, or know of someone, please contact Roberta Christie at Shawnee CC.
  • Eventually we’ll want to edit the Illinois Mathematics and Computer Science Articulation Guide and IAI will need to act.  It was good that we had IAI representation at the summit last spring and many of us are very familiar with the articulation guide.  A couple things to be aware of: To my understanding there is no Elementary Education Major panel (list of panels) and no Elementary Education recommendations at the recommendations page.

Happy Thanksgiving!

At the Question & Answer Session with Jason Helfer we will read the questions and Dr. Helfer will respond.  At the session we also plan to have time for attendees to ask follow-up questions and additional questions.

We plan to share the list of questions, in advance, with Jason Helfer, so that he can better prepare answers.

Please submit your questions now.  Thank you.
